Trimline has been around since 1965, making it one of the worlds longest established marine interior outfitting companies. A rich heritage spanning nearly six decades and in excess 600 large vessel refurbishments. Trimline provide comprehensive services for the refurbishment and fit-out of cruise ships, ferries, and other maritime vessels. A huge variety of turnkey solutions underpinned by a staunch commitment to innovation, collaboration, and quality.
Trimline have invested heavily in their offering over the last 3 years. Including fresh new branding, and a landmark move to a new, state-of-the-art facility in 2024.

Solutions Provided
GDS were originally approached by Trimline in the summer of 2022. Naturally, as a fit-out specialist Trimline had a well-developed vision for the space. We were provided with some beautifully detailed visualisations and asked a very simple question. ‘’Can you light our space? It needs to look the part’’
GDS were pleased to be trusted with lighting design, layouts, and calculations across the building. The project incorporates numerous elements from GDS’ architectural ranges. Our sleek suspended pendants provide beautifully diffuse, functional light throughout the working spaces. These are supplemented by high-quality GDS downlights and tracklights to provide rich colour rendering throughout the buildings communal and break-out spaces. High CRI fixtures selected in this instance to bring the very best from the exceptional finishes throughout the building.
