A stone’s throw from Tower Bridge, the London International House Centre provides QA Ltd with the perfect environment to provide training, apprenticeships, and tech skills to companies across the UK. The 19,000 sq ft space in St Katharine’s Dock was delivered in just 12 weeks and incorporates feature timber ceilings, exposed services, and pendants throughout.

GDS were approached by the site team to deliver a solution for the entire space incorporating classrooms, breakout, circulation, and communal areas. GDS’ in-house design team undertook a complete lighting design, and emergency lighting calculation which incorporated suspended linear, circular panel, and feature pendants from our Reality Series. Working cooperatively with the Architect and M&E Consultant, the lighting was equipped with highly efficient LEDs to meet with specific standards outlined by the ECA for this inspiring space.
